Small Biz Sherpa ™ Consulting Services   1-on-1 Consulting: You and I meet and discuss your business issues. For local Seattle area clients, the first hour is free and we spend that time reviewing your key issues and determining what improvements you are hoping for. I will then return to you with a description of what I can do for you and an hourly rate or full-project fee. For clients outside of the Seattle area, we conduct our first hour by telephone and then I respond with a proposal for services. In person consulting can be done with travel expenses paid or all of the project can be completed by phone and email.   Workshops:  Describe your issue and I will design a workshop for you and your managers. This definitely works best when we are addressing a specific topic that needs in-depth training and work with multiple managers or supervisors. For example, I have one workshop which runs for 4 to 8 hours which trains Managers on how to design specific bonus programs for the employees. In the longer version of that workshop, we actually have time to design the program together so that they come out of the session with a working plan they can implement immediately.   Speaking: Are you hosting an event or large gathering? I am available to speak on a variety of issues regarding small business. My specialties are Purchasing a Business, Managing Labor Costs, and Designing Effective Compensation Programs. My talks are usually 45 to 90 minutes long and generally include a healthy dose of substance along with humorous insights to the Small Business World.
